Hmm, that’s a little disappointing. I guess it’s probably more realistic that way, but I’d hoped he’d be a little more conflicted about it all.
I wouldn’t say that Alain isn’t conflicted exactly. The sense I got from his first season is more like he’s been extremely Not OK with most of what has been going on since the Witch Queen first went all Witch Queen, but he’s been burying it very deep and hasn’t really more than just barely begun confronting it yet.
Whether we’ll see him making more progress on that in his upcoming season or not remains to be seen. I have no idea which way he’s going to jump after the cliffhanger his season one ended on.
