Stiefvaterland has two acres of the farm in dog fencing, and three other dogs who instantly adored her, and children who huggle her. You can see the difference a week has made in her face.

ETA: I find these gentle smiles of her more remarkable now that the vet told us (while doing dental surgery to correct damage that seems to be from trying to chew through metal) that she still has a BB pellet embedded in her face.
