landlords are scum, idk if you’ve seen anyone talk about it on here but earlier in the year the amount students get from the government while studying in new zealand was increased and landlords immediately put rents up to nab it up for themselves.
it was naked greed, and the state just kinda shrugged it’s shoulders and the media ran a bunch of stories written by landlords, where they’d whine about how much it costs them to maintain properties
