This is 100% a common thing that happens. I’ve had people (usually white women) come up to me as a manager to “report employees” that are being “lazy” or “unhelpful” and 99 times out of 100 it is not an actual employee (we wear name tags for a reason) and nearly every time it is a black or latino customer.
I’ve gotten multiple complaints on service surveys that employees were speaking Spanish to each other on days when we had no spanish speaking employees.
I’m fucking loosing it with the US like how is this even normal to you? I mean sure every country has it’s problems but this is getting out of hand.
