Hey y’all, so I’ve been trying really hard to avoid making this post because I am trying to convince myself it’s unnecessary, but I think my meltdown earlier has demonstrated that it actually is.

So, as y’all probably remember, I had to go on antibiotics a month or so ago for a blood infection that it turns out stemmed from a couple huge cavities that have developed in my rear teeth.

Basically, I need to get two root canals and two crowns or my teeth are going to further crumble and the infection is very likely to come back, and my health is bad enough as it is that I don’t know how many more things like that I can manage.

I submitted this to insurance and even applied for dental credit, but both were rejected. My dentist says that he’ll help me appeal, but that will likely only cover the root canals, and so even best-case scenario I’m still looking at being responsible for $3600 in fees.

So, you’ll notice, I’ve got a new goal on my ko-fi page to “Repair My Very Broken Teeth” which is kinda the only option I have left, and so if you could spare anything or just pass this post around, I’d really appreciate it.

I’m not gonna say it’s super urgent since I’ve still got a bottle of amoxicillin left and I imagine the infection did wonders for my immune system, but until I get it done I’m gonna have the specter of possible reinfection hanging over my head as well as being unable to eat w/o a lot of pain, so if y’all could help me out, it’d really make this drifting trans’ life that little bit brighter.
