Inktober 2018, Day 18, sketch of Altea Bellerose from Love and Legends. I was actually in the middle of drawing another character, when I saw @a-lovestruck-salamander‘s cosplay costume of Altea and it inspired me to sketch this instead. While looking at reference CG images from her route, I noticed that Altea had a very beautiful neck and shoulder area. So, that’s the main reason for this ¾ back pose.

I was indifferent to Altea’s route until I went back to reread it, then it kinda’ grew on me. I do enjoy her route a lot, it’s very sweet. Plus, the MC in Altea’s route is so damn awesome. Did you guys see that Altea started speaking French in the latest release? Lol…I thought that was so cute! I love European languages!

FYI, I will continue Inktober into November.

Welcome to the Owl Hours cafe!

It’s located right in the middle of town, not too far from campus where your mentor has full access to the labs. (Just one of many the perks of being a leader in the bio-alchemical field.)

Why a cafe? Well, you don’t want to take full credit for the plan… but you were the one who introduced the idea of “Owl Cafes” to your mentor.

Plus, there’s a lot of misconceptions about your field from the general public.

So naturally, you and your mentor decided this was the perfect way to unleash your proof of concept… Owlcats!

After a lot of training, you’re just about ready to make one of your own! Nothing solid yet, but you’ve got some sketch designs for an absolute unit. Part Himalayan, part Snowy Owl for maximum chunk and floof.

Griffins are nearly extinct in the wild! And now thanks to a blend of science and magic, you can pet them while you have coffee! You’re welcome. Everyone who called you and your mentor “mad scientists” is cordially invited to throw their opinions into the litterbox.

Likes: Owls, good coffee, chemistry, sappy anime, thrash metal, and pansies (the flowers).
